Designed in conjunction with Bruce Epker, D.D.S., Ph.D.

Porex Surgical provides a series of angle shapes for mandibular augmentation and the correction of deficient mandibular angles. The reconstructive and aesthetic onlay shapes are designed to create a pleasing aesthetic unit delineating the lower third portion of the face with the neck.

With minor trimming and modification, these shapes accommodate a spectra of conditions including deficient angles resulting from trauma, unfavorable rotation following sagittal split procedures and syndromes such as hemifacial microsomia.

Surgeons may choose from two different designs to fit the patient's augmentation or reconstruction needs. The ES series is commonly used for facial aesthetics due to its modest inferior ridge and lateral profile. The ES Series is available with either a 5 mm or 10 mm inferior angle projection.

For congenital cases, such as hemifacial microsomia, a reconstructive set of angles with larger dimensions is available. The lateral projection, as well as the inferior ridge, has greater bulk than the ES series.
